Safety and information security
The complexity of automation systems and their development is increasing due to the increasing demands on quality, the complexity of interfaces and the increased role of traceability. Together with our clients, we develop a solid basis for managing safety and information security, using the IEC-62443, as well as implementing workable OT strategies.

Awareness
Although safety and security often require technological or process-based solutions, a first step is to gain awareness among the people dealing with these systems. Strypes takes care of this essential step by means of risk sessions, workshops and presentations. The right measures in the field of safety and security ultimately provide added value for organisations. From infrastructural objects such as bridges and locks that are always safe, to ensuring the traceability of batches in the pharmaceutical industry. This prevents lengthy (legal) proceedings and economic and image damage.
Secure operating software
Within the European Union, systems must comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive when new buildings are constructed or after renovation. However, a safe system does not stop with the one-off definition of safety functions, but is rather a continuous iterative process. Strypes has developed a standard framework for this, in which we advise customers from the first RI&E to the implementation of control software. Based on our standard process framework, we develop safe control software; from specification, design and code to a thorough testing strategy including demonstrable, traceable and complete verifications and validations.
Cybersecurity
Strypes has the knowledge to realise optimal processes and technological innovations in the field of safety and security. Our professionals are CMSE® and/or GICSP certified and supervise implementations and consultancy processes in all markets in which we are active. In addition to substantive knowledge, we also bring the associated assets along with us, enabling your organisation not to have to start from scratch.
